An Academic Study about Alcoholism Symptoms, Alcoholism Statistics, and Alcoholic Symptoms
Mr. Blake was one of the health lecturers at a large rural community college in the Northern part of the United States. For “Alcohol Insight Month” he determined that he would center on the following three topics for a class project: alcoholism symptoms, alcoholism statistics, and alcoholic symptoms.
After Mr. Blake finalized the topics that would be dispensed to his students, he made up his mind that he would provide them with their assignment the following Friday morning.
When “assignment day” eventually arrived, Mr. Blake met with the pupils in his class, disseminated some related research data, and then notified his pupils about the topics he ultimately selected.

He then gave the pupils in his classroom an overview of some key alcoholism statistics and alcohol addiction signs and symptoms and stressed how vital it is to gain knowledge about and learn how to relate these symbols, statistics, and facts with the real-life situations of alcohol addicted individuals. He then gave the pupils in his classroom a brief articulation about the importance of learning more about alcohol dependent individuals and how they live on an everyday basis.
Mr. Blake told the students in his classroom that they could center their attention on one of the three topics or discuss all three topics and how they are interrelated. In short this would be not unlike a basic abstract but done in a more far-reaching fashion.
Another choice that he gave to his students was the following: pick a topic such as alcoholism symptoms and signs, look into things in a more thorough fashion, and then discuss three or four symptoms and signs. Mr. Blake then talked about the fact that the same logic applies to the other two topics, namely, alcoholism statistics and alcoholic symptoms.
The end result of their research investigation would be a seven thousand word research paper and then a five minute oral presentation that would be given in front of all the members of the class.
Presenting The Findings From A Research Exploration at the Tri-State Chemical Dependency Symposium
As appreciation for their extraordinary academic attainment, the students with the top three overall grades on the research project and on the presentation will be encouraged to present the outcome of their research exploration at the community alcohol and drug addiction convention during the last four days of February.
After the pupils acquired the information about their assignment, more than a few of them raised their hands and asked for an example of a sub-topic that they could concentrate on for their research project.
In response, Mr. Blake came to a decision that he would quickly chat about a few alcohol addiction signs and symptoms that the class could build upon.
As an example, Mr. Blake identified the following alcoholism signs and symptoms: boasting and a “big shot” complex, cloudy thinking, an obsession with drinking, and loss of control.

After mentioning these alcohol addiction signs and symptoms, Mr. Blake then informed the pupils that they could do some supplementary investigation on each symptom, gather some related information, give a number of illustrations of each symptom or sign, and discuss how each sign or symptom manifests itself in the life of an alcohol addicted individual.
As articulated by Mr. Blake, because there are several alcohol dependency symptoms and signs to select, he brought up the fact that he was not awfully alarmed about two or more students settling on the same symptoms and signs for their research project.
Indeed, even if several students were to choose identical symptoms and signs, the illustrations that are correlated with each symptom or sign would unquestionably add enough diversity to sidestep the possibility of two or more students presenting exactly the same content.
Mr. Blake then mentioned that while there are numerous alcohol addiction signs and symptoms that could be chosen, the magnitude of alcohol dependency facts and statistics that could be discussed were virtually unlimited. When the topic of alcoholic symptoms was added to the conversation, moreover, the pupils understood rather quickly that the three topics would offer an immense amount of material from which to select.

Why did Mr. Blake choose alcoholism symptoms, alcoholic symptoms, and alcoholism statistics as the topics for this assignment? Mr. Blake’s expectation was that by asking all of his pupils to examine one or more of the three alcohol dependency topics, all the students would have greater insight into a complex yet noteworthy topic such as alcohol addiction.
Mr. Blake also thought that by boosting the understanding of his students about the negative effects of alcohol addiction and the gloomy existence experienced by alcoholics, his pupils might think more wisely before they get caught up in excessive and abusive drinking behavior.
